Swedish Spring

My World

When spring comes and all the new life in nature awakes – we the Swedish people also wakes up from the very long winter. The sun rises in our souls and we almost become another kind of people – more friendly and much more happy. We also start to live the new life. I love to go out with only a skirt, a light top and sandals. I hate winter clothes!

Primula VerisGullviva – from the Botanical Garden in Lund. This is one of my faourites – this is Swedish spring!

This wonderful time there are not a singel parkingspace in our National Parks.

Everyone wants to enjoy and be in the wonderful nature and forests. Especially the Beech Forests.

Today Milton and I went to the City Park and to the Botanical Gardens in Lund.

We also visited the playground for dogs and Milton met some friends and had a nice speedy time.

This time there were another Tibbie boy too. Malte and he was black. Milton is black & tan.

New life in the City Park too. The Magpie is a baby bird.

We were tired both Milton and I when we came home today.

  1. Beautiful images of spring, I'm not surprised to see all the parking slots full but you found plenty of uncrowded scenes.

  5. Hooray for beautiful Spring! Wonderful pictures -- I can imagine why there are no parking places at the Parks -- everybody would certainly want to get outside and enjoy the beauty and beautiful weather.

(I agree with you about Winter clothes -- I'm happy I don't need them any more at all ;>)

  6. Spring has definitely come to your Sweden and it is beautiful this year. Your series this week is beautiful and gives me a real feeling for the areas you were visiting. Love all the shades of green, and I adore the doggie park. That is just too cute. Hope you have a nice week.

  8. Hi there - splendid set of images. I used to find lots of Primulas in woodlands as a kid - not anymore through, they are just a garden plant in Australia.
