In the morning it looked promising – blue sky and soft white clouds …
I decided with Milton to visit one of the allotments nearby – Haga Gardens. Macro lense for shooting bugs and flowers … hopefully …
We walked every garden path up and down …
But what happens in the sky!?
It looks more worrying … and isn’t it getting darker …
What to do with my camera? I didn’t plan for such weather!
Well I put my camera inside my T-shirt and hold my backsack over it to protect …. didn’t reach home before the rain …
One of my shots from one of Haga gardens …
Happy Midsummer!
This is a very lovely series.

It is amazing how the skies can change so dramatically over the day! Superb captures, Birgitta, as always! I also love the beautiful flowers! Happy SWF! Have a wonderful weekend!

It is incredible to watch the changes in the sky. Looks like a beautiful garden to visit.
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it in time!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI have a real fear of dropping my camera and drowning it or ruining it with the water. So glad yours survived the rain nicely. You series of shots shows beautifully how the cloud mass and color changed as the rain drew closer. Wonderful work. Awesome post.
ReplyDeleteA quickly changing sky beautifully captured. Sorry it cut your walk short, but you did get one lovely macro, so sweet. happy mid-summer to you too, Birgitta!
