Helsingborg

Skywatch Friday 
Himmelsk 

Today I was going to my dentist in Helsingborg. Helsingborg is one of the ports to Sweden and very very close to Denmark. It’s a grey day today.

Kärnan in the background from 1310 when this part of Sweden was Danish. It’s a famous landmark. From the tower you can see the Turning Torso in Malmö and the bridge – Öresundsbron - between Sweden and Denmark.

    Himmelske bilder fra Helsingborg. Knutpunktet kjenner jeg godt til. Fergene "Tycho Brahe" og "Aurora af Helsingborg" som trafikkerer Øresund er bygget på verftet hvor jeg jobber.

    These grey skies don't detract at all from this charming town. Lovely captures of Helsingborg, Birgitta. I suspect I've been through here many times when our family traveled from Helsinki by ferry to Stockholm and down through Denmark on our way to Holland (and back) several times a year when I was a child living in Finland. But I don't remember it.

    Jättefina bilder från Helsingborg. Hade ingen aning om att Knutpunkten såg ut så från utsidan. Har bara sett den från insidan. Kärnan känner jag ju igen. Den syns på långt håll när man kommer med färjan. Stadshuset ser också imponerande ut.
