Today I was going to my dentist in Helsingborg. Helsingborg is one of the ports to Sweden and very very close to Denmark. It’s a grey day today.
This is the house – Knutpunkten – where the ferries and the trains arrive. I came by train.
The shoppingstreet in Helsingborg …
Kärnan in the background from 1310 when this part of Sweden was Danish. It’s a famous landmark. From the tower you can see the Turning Torso in Malmö and the bridge – Öresundsbron - between Sweden and Denmark.
I wish you all a nice and relaxing weekend – Best wishes!

ReplyDeleteAnother great tour!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place. I enjoyed your shots. I went to the dentist today too which I don't like to do.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gray day.
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK too, apart from first thing this morning for about ten minutes.
Interesting to see your streets.
Actually, the grey skies here make lovely photos, Birgitta!
ReplyDeleteYour gray skies look very much like ours earlier this morning! Terrific captures and the skies do indeed make a great background for the very colorful, beautiful buildings, Birgitta! Such a lovely place and a great tour! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Hvilke fantastiske bygninger dere har i den byen! Det må bli mitt neste besøk i Sverige! Vakkert!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour, it look like a pretty city. Great photos, even with the grey skies. Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteIn spite of a foggy day:
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos
What a nice place, haven't been there. Maybe I should take a trip :0)
ReplyDeleteThese grey skies don't detract at all from this charming town. Lovely captures of Helsingborg, Birgitta. I suspect I've been through here many times when our family traveled from Helsinki by ferry to Stockholm and down through Denmark on our way to Holland (and back) several times a year when I was a child living in Finland. But I don't remember it.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures, Birgitta! Helsingborg is a beautiful city and I think the grey skies enhanced the colors. I love the architecture of City Hall!
ReplyDeleteVa kul med dimman!
ReplyDeleteFlotte bilder fra Helsingborg!
