T is for Tibbie
First I couldn’t find a perfect word for T day and I thought of my Milton so of course T is for Tibetan Spaniel – Tibbie.
Milton is such a nice fellow. He loves everyone.
I miss him very much just now. He is back in Sweden with my husband.

Water Walk
Today was the first nice day this time in Budapest. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. I decided to take a walk to Buda Castle area and enjoy the beautiful view from the hills.
I have never seen the Danube so low. I am on the Chain bridge looking south.
The Sofitel’s windows reflect the sun back into the river.
Same view on my way back again. The Liberty statue is on the hill.

Looking back I can see the Buda Castle in the moonshine. It gets dark very fast.

Now I am back home – in my Budapest home. Friday I am back in Sweden again.

I barnens tecken
Två låtar tillägnar jag mina barn och en låt alla babisar …
Mitt första barnbarn och jag (kanske 1997)
Lemon trees …. brukar vi sjunga i bilen …
Vi cyklar runt i världen gillade vi …. då på 70-talet.
Små babisar som har ont i magen eller på annat sätt lite besvärligt har alltid gillat när jag vyssjat och nynnat … “Gör nu liksom svalorna ….”
Passusen kommer en liten bit in i denna (Ur Csardasfurstinnan)
Testa och nynna den – om och om igen – den lugnar ….

S is for stones
I love stones! I always pick stones with med home wherever I am. I collect stones and I can really say: I am stone rich :)
These stones were too big though!
My photo is from the south of Sweden – Ales stenar – Ale stones.
“Ales Stenar (Ale Stones), the mysterious "ship-setting" made of 59 large boulders set in a layout of a ship, 67 metre in length, 19 metre in breadth. This monumental stone formation is located just outside a fishing village of Kåseberga, approximately eighteen kilometres southeast of Ystad in Skåne, on an astoundingly flat, grassy headland that overlooks the narrow, pebbly beach of the Baltic Sea. R is for Right
What is RIGHT?
What is right for me maybe is not right for you. To do right concerning the law is important of course! But easy!
But to choose the right for my life is a challenge – and I like it!
Two years ago we moved to a flat in the University town of Lund – thinking about an easy life as seniors. Easy to go to Budapest and easy to no have a garden to care about. Easy to find cultural events close around.
But!!!!!
Now we are moving back to our house. We couldn’t sell it in these worrying economic times. And I like it! I like moving back to our house with a lot of space and a fantastic view over Båstad – the tennis metropol. I like to be close to the sea and nature.
I think this will be the RIGHT thing for us just now ….

Keep rolling
Mitt första rock’n roll minne är Bill Haley (och hans Comets) med Rock around the clock. Min storasyster var tokig i den och det buggades ordentligt. På den tiden hade de “skutt” (=fest och ff) hemma. Av ngn anledning var jag hemma medan mamma, pappa och lillasyster höll sig hemifrån. Jag skulle dock lägga mig och sova men hann ändå kolla vilka som dansade tillsammans genom att kolla skorna genom dörrspringan vid golvet. BH dog 1981.
Sedan kom ju ELVIS. Tyvärr är han död efter sitt tragiska liv.
Cliff Richards var min kusins stora idol och han köpte alla skivorna som kom Med CR and the Shadows. Cliff Richards är värd att lyfta fram även om han inte varit just min idol.

Chuck Berry is still going strong … and I like him … tillsammans med Tina Turner …

Q is for Queen
One of my favourite band is QUEEN and of course our QUEEN to be in the future – Crown Princess Victoria is a favourite too. I am a royalist and like that Sweden has this historical/cultural institution as the kingdom is.

My favourite QUEEN song is … I want to break free …
I hope Victoria doesn’t want to break free ever!
In the spring she will have a little princess or a prince.
