European Photo Bloggers had a meetup last weekend in Budapest. We were very lucky to get the opportunity to go down in the 4th Metro planned to be finished in 2014. We went down on the east side = Pest side and we walked all the way under the Danube and came up on Buda side. Imagine how many photos were taken :)

I went to Buda side and Castle area today. At least once every time I am here I do. And I choose another passway up the hills than most people do. I didn’t meet anyone on my way up.
On the other side of the wall is the President Palace.
One can say I am coming up the back “door”.

When I went back over the Chain Bridge it was film shooting going on. It happens very often in Budapest.
Today’s walk was 11 km and ended in rain and thunder.

A wonderful weather today! It’s our Kings birthday as well. King Karl XVI Gustav is 66 years old today. And he is newly become a grandfather. So the flag is for the King :)
I walked 10 km in the nice weather and another 5 km a little later. I walked on top of the Peninsula whick mostly is the countryside.

It has been a very exciting weather today. Looking in one direction is so very dark and in the other light and sunshine. Milton and I are leaving our street here and I am "walking for the heart". (Our house in the center - the pink one.)
I am shooting both details in nature and the whole view.
Milton is happy and free. He runs over the fields while I am shooting. We enjoy the special light today.

Milton knows the way home. We will turn right here :)
Almost home now. It looks like it is raining over the bay.
I didn't rain and it was just a perfect photo walk - 6,28 km.

SKÅNELEDEN is a walking trail in the south of Sweden. I, my son and my youngest daughter walked along the coastline today. This is how it looks like where we walked.
The bay here is Skälderviken.
In the summertime there are cattle here.
I like a lot to walk in this kind of moorland (hope the word is correct).
They have been quarrying here before – a very stony coastline ….
…. but beautiful ….

It’s about trees today ….
We went to Håle Hall and chose the longest trail – the green one – 11 km. Last time I was here it was a forest and now it’s gone.
Large areas are now waiting for new trees.
The ground is prepared to be easier for the new trees to grow.
The timber waited to be transported.
We passed an old tree left behind.
And this one of it’s kind here – a beech.
It was sad to see but perhaps needed.
Some trees fell in the last storm.
Some trees sharpened in their own reflection.
It is mostly a beautiful place ….
