Today was the first nice day this time in Budapest. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. I decided to take a walk to Buda Castle area and enjoy the beautiful view from the hills.

I have never seen the Danube so low. I am on the Chain bridge looking south.

The Sofitel’s windows reflect the sun back into the river.

Same view on my way back again. The Liberty statue is on the hill.

The beautiful Chain bridge facing Pest side.

Looking back I can see the Buda Castle in the moonshine. It gets dark very fast.

Have a nice evening and take care!

Now I am back home – in my Budapest home. Friday I am back in Sweden again.

This square close to Elisabeth Bridge is newly made. It is a very relaxing place with different kind of seats. You also can see through glass archaeological excavations here. The church (in the background) is the oldest building in Pest I think.

Don’t miss this place during the late evening walk along the Danube!

This is dancing water in a fountain in Margit Island in Budapest. Classic music is played while the water is dancing. Very relaxing I must say.

Bolero

I am on my way to the National Dance Theatre on Buda side. I have to pass over The Danube and here is the Chain Bridge with the lions. I want to buy two tickets for Bolero. My sister will join me. I Bolero.

I am on the Buda-side now and I have bought tickets.
