MW–Marsvinsholm Castle

Last Saturday we went for a little trip here in the south Sweden.
It was a VERY misty day. But luckily I could shoot a few pictures of this beautiful castle in the very south of Sweden and close to the town Ystad.

The barn is also a beautiful buildning. I think they have exhibitions here during summertime.

Look at the small brick cottage – it’s falling ….

The castle is still majestic even in dreary weather. November is often dreary here in my part of Canada too!

All of your photos are superb, Birgitta, in spite of the dreary weather -- which we're having as well! Hope you have a great week! Enjoy! Thanks as always for your visit/comment! Much appreciated!

Delightful shots! Love the old house but that wooden barn is tumbling down... Sad but lovely too in a way.

Beautiful typically Scandinavian architecture.
Such a pity the cottage is crumbling.

What a beautiful castle! Is it still used as a living space or now just for tourism visits? I imagine the heating bill is enormous.
