No sun and no shadows outdoors nowerdays so I had to arrange shadows indoors.
This little piece of silver is very dear to me. I got it from an old English Lady when I went to my first scout camp in Englad. We were two Swedish girls in this International camp in Loughborough. It was … mmm … 1962 … long time ago.
Do you know what it is? Have a guess! Sunday evening I will tell you.
Above I used cont’e filter and below it is natural.

What a terrific shadow shot for the day, Birgitta! The first thing that I thought of was a paper napkin holder because it looks just like one I had years ago! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

Nice capture! Perhaps it is a rack to hold the camp mail from home. Maybe it is a drying rack for just washed dishes. Or perhaps a small book rack. The imagination is at work, whatever it is!
Det funkade ju jätte bra att göra så här det blev jätte bra bilder :)
Jag kollade på inlägget under här och jag säger bara
HERREGUD vilken KANON bild .. jag bara ÄLSKAR den bilden :)
Lovely photo, very nicely abstract!
I guess it's a toast rack,
I think that it might just be a "toast caddy" ?
It is a great shot .. abstract and yet draws you in thinking about what it might really be ?
Joy : )
Excellent Shadow Shots! I'm guessing that it is a record holder. In those days we still used record players!! Have a great SSS
So gorgeous!
My shadow shots
I like it! I'm not sure what it is though. I'll have a guess and say it's a toast rack :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I don't know what it is, but the shots are beautiful, especially the second one.
I like the filtered shot of the silver toastrack - not of course that anyone would put toast in a silver toastrack - might use it for popping letters (mail) in though.
It's a toast rack - good guessing Gerald, Hey Harriet and CanadianGardenJoy!
... and we use it sometimes :)
very fun! Indoor shadows are just as wonderful as the outdoor ones - often more surprising even. cheers.
