Some shape

Macro Monday 

First I saw this strange little thing beside me when I had a lángos. Funny shape and pattern. Almost like a reptile.

Then I saw some leaves like this one.

I asked my husband what he thought it was. He thought perhaps some kind of insect and I think so too.

What do you think?
Have you seen it before?

Ps. The tree is some kind of Populus (Poppel).
