Yesterday I went to walk around the Margit Island in the Danube between Pest and Buda. The bridge is Margit Bridge.
Now I am close and will soon turn right.
A view of the Pest sida from Margit Island.
And a view of the Buda side. You can see some of the Buda Hills.
Margit bridge is decorated with the Hungarian symbol – St Istvan´s crown (St Stephan’s crown). The bridge is recently renovated and very beautiful. But that doesn’t stop vandals. Most of the crowns had lost the cross – isn’t it too sad!?

Great visit!! Too bad about the vandals. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
What a wonderful tour, Birgitta! Your photos are fantastic! It is, indeed, so sad about the vandals! Sadly it seems to be happening everywhere these days! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Happy SWF!
